4. What is the step-by-step process for resin flower preservation?

Design Consultation: We collaborate closely on the layout, choosing between geometric blocks, custom arches, or shadow boxes based on your input.

Dehydration & Layout Prep: Your flowers undergo a specialized organic silica dehydration process to pull out moisture while locking in structural integrity and color vibrancy. We then map out a 3D arrangement mockup for your approval on request.

Multi-Layer Precision Casting: Elements are encased in museum-grade, UV-stabilized resin using multi-layer pouring techniques to maximize optical depth and prevent runaway flash cures.

Artisanal Finishing: Once cured, we utilize an orbital sander, fine polishing compounds, and a clear flood coat to remove casting lines and achieve a flawless, glass-like finish.

Secure Delivery or local pickups :- Your custom resin keepsake is white-glove packaged and shipped with fully tracked courier services directly to your door. Alternatively, we love to meet our clients at our door for pickups and drop-offs.

5. How do you arrange the flowers for the artisan layout?

We carefully curate your specific bridal bouquet flowers based on your preferred geometric mold size and aesthetic style. Our studio hand-places each element to highlight your primary statement flowers (like roses or peonies) to create a sophisticated, balanced layout. We try our best to use all varieties from your bouquet in the layout so that you can remember the all types of flowers you have in your wedding bouquets or memorial flowers.

6. Do you provide a layout placement preview before pouring the resin?

Yes! Upon request, we provide a digital design layout preview before we begin the multi-layer resin casting process.

First 2 Layout Previews: Completely complimentary.

Additional Revisions: Any layout structural changes requested after the first two previews incur a design revision fee of $25.

7. What is the typical studio turnaround time for custom bouquet preservation in Calgary?

Our handcrafted resin preservation process typically takes 8 to 12 weeks, depending on the complexity of the arrangement and the moisture levels of your flowers. We prioritize technical precision over speed to ensure your resin block is perfectly cured, completely bubble-free, and glass-clear.

8. What custom layout options do I have for my resin block or tray?

Every single resin commission is completely unique. You can customize the specific items included, the arrangement composition, background color accents, and the overall shape (such as geometric blocks, trays, arches, or ring holders).

9. What professional drying methods do you use to preserve flower color?

We utilize advanced silica gel (for 3D flowers or semi pressed) and wooden press or microwave dehydration technique ( for pressed flowers). This professional framework extracts moisture rapidly, retaining the natural structure, petal shape, and color vibrancy of your florals far better than traditional air-drying or book-pressing methods.

10. Will my resin flower block turn yellow over time?

We use high-grade, industrial-strength, non-toxic resins engineered with advanced UV-stabilizers. This premium formula is specifically designed to resist yellowing, fading, or cracking, ensuring your wedding or memorial keepsake remains crystal-clear for decades if taken care properly.

11. Can you combine multiple bouquets (such as bride, bridesmaids and centrepieces) or large mementos into a resin casting?

Yes. We can incorporate multiple elements into a large geometric mold, a custom grand serving tray collection, or design a coordinated set of smaller matching keepsakes (like coasters or ring holders). For oversized items, please contact our studio directly to discuss custom mold options.

12. Can fragile or delicate flowers be safely cast in resin?

Yes. We handle delicate varieties, heirloom jewelry, and fragile items with extreme care. While some delicate petals can become slightly translucent in liquid resin, our meticulous pouring process ensures your botanicals remain intact and beautiful.
